"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to move the following Motion:- THAT, whereas the House on 30th June 2010 passed a resolution to adopt the Report of the Tribunal appointed by the Parliamentary Service Commission to review the Terms and Conditions of Service of Members of Parliament; Cognisant of the fact that the resolution had urged the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance to introduce Draft Bills to give legal effect to the Tribunal Report within the next seven days; considering that the seven days have lapsed ; this House, pursuant to S.O. 49 rescinds the resolution in respect of the period of seven days and resolves that the period be extended to enable the Minister obtain the Presidentâs approval as provided for under Section 48 of the Constitution of Kenya."
