Unfortunately, the NCPB purchased only 1,500 bags at two different prices. In March it purchased the maize at Kshs2,300 per bag and recently they have been purchasing it at Kshs1,400 and the farmers have not been paid. Is the Assistant Minister going to purchase the 10,000 bags which are lying with the farmers?"
