    "content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker, for giving me the opportunity to join my colleagues in supporting this wonderful Bill that has come before the House. I thank Sen. Kibiru for drafting this good Bill. Street vendors are part of the economy of this country. They are an ignored group that is not regulated and appreciated. So, it is good that we finally come up with a Bill that will not only identify and register them but further give them standards, privileges and rights. I come from Eldoret Town within Uasin Gishu County where we have had a lot of conflict between street vendors and businessmen on one hand and at the same time, The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
