Pursuant to Standing Order 48(1), I rise to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Roads and Transportation regarding the economic benefits of the LAPPSET project to the residents of Lamu County. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) Avail the number of residents of Lamu County employed in the project and the nature of jobs they have taken up.
