Speaker, as you may be aware, just to give a background, on 10th September 2019, you read the Message from His Excellency the President to the House regarding the nomination of the Chairperson and members of the NLC and referred the names of the nominees to the Departmental Committee on Lands for vetting. Hon. Speaker, in compliance with Section 6(9) of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act, 2011, the Committee, through the Clerk of the National Assembly, placed an advertisement in the print media on Thursday, 12th September 2019, The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
