"content": " Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker for giving me an opportunity to comment on the Petition, which I support. Disasters happen in this country and once they do, there is no fund or anywhere we can refer to so that we at least assist the victims. We end up sending individual support or the Ministry concerned or the Government says that it will support the families. At the end of the day, it takes quite a long time. If we had a fund of that nature, it would be very easy to go into that pocket, pick some money and assist disaster victims. The other day there was a disaster in a school in Dagoretti. We are currently trying to assist the bereaved families and those who were injured by coming up with a kitty from individual pockets. If there was a specific kitty, it would act like insurance."
