I would like to ask Question No. 416/2019 and pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order No. 42A(5), my Question goes to the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government: (i) What is the status of the closed-circuit television (CCTVs) cameras that were installed in the country, and in particular Nairobi City and other towns, at a cost of over Kshs15 billion to curb insecurity? (ii) Could the Cabinet Secretary explain the effectiveness of the said CCTV cameras in curbing insecurity in the country?"
