Temporary Deputy Speaker, I would like to put it straight here that going by the market rate, it would take a Member of Parliament at least 24 years to purchase a five-acre plot in Ng’ando Ward, if he were to buy land at Kshs40 million per plot to consolidate them to five acres. Going by the rates that we have today, if your development budget in NG-CDF is around Kshs40 million, it would take you an entire 24 years to just purchase land that is big enough to construct a public primary school that would be sitting on five acres."
