    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to comment on this Statement. At the outset, that Statement from the TSC is cosmetic. It was tailored to protect the teacher. In as much as they said the sequence of events up to when the girl went home, that is where they started picking issues to victimise the family or create an impression that the family’s problems led the girl to commit suicide. That is diverting from the original problem of not having sanitary towels. In as much as they are saying they gave the girl some sanitary towels, they could not account for the ones they gave. Could be they were not there. Why had they to go independently when they knew this issue had a lot of national interest? I would request for an independent investigation into the same and we put the TSC’s issue aside."
