Temporary Deputy Chairlady, what the President has done is to provide explicitly that the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) advises in the event that the Parliamentary Service Commission might wish to increase salaries of Members and staff. That is a clear provision of Article 230(4)(b) of the Constitution. There is no need, therefore, for us to provide for it in the Bill because it is clearly provided for in the Article 230(4)(b) of the Constitution.
