    "content": "When you look at all the corruption that is taking place in this country and the plunder of public monies, you blame the accountants. On one hand, we want to fight corruption but on the other hand, we say that we remove the accountants from the regulator, which does not add up. I am glad because the Committee has seen that and even supported some other amendments that were brought in by ICPAK to further strengthen the regulatory framework and ensure that people who work as accountants in the public or private sector are regulated, whether they are qualified or not. I want to commend the Committee for that."
