    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I rise to support the Bill. The Finance Bill that has been introduced by the Chair of the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning is important. In the first few weeks, we discussed about the Division of Revenue Bill. We discussed how to divide monies and income but, in this particular Bill, we are talking about revenue raising measures. In each and every State, governments have a responsibility to tax individuals and corporate as a means of raising income so that they are able to provide services. One of the cardinal things of every nation is to ensure that when taxes have been raised, it must be seen in the lives of people in that particular country."
