    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, this was partly to do – I want to say this clearly before the Senate – with the Report on the ad hoc Committee on Maize which was chaired by the distinguished Senator for Uasin Gishu County and the Senator for Bungoma County. There was general approval of the manner in which that Committee had conducted itself, eventually holding meetings with stakeholders and coming up with a Report which, to date, has not been implemented but it was approved with enthusiasm by the Senate."
