The Message says, and I quote- “Pursuant to the provisions of Standing Orders 41(1) and 144 of the National Assembly Standing Orders, I hereby convey the following message from the National Assembly: Whereas, the County Allocation of Revenue Bill (Senate Bills No.8 of 2019), was passed by the Senate on Tuesday the 17th of September 2019 with amendments and referred to the National Assembly for consideration. Whereas, the National Assembly passed the said Bill on Wednesday, 18th of September 2019, without amendments and in the form passed by the Senate. Now, therefore, in accordance with the provisions of Article 110 of the Constitution and Standing Order 41(1) and 144 of the National Assembly Standing Orders, I hereby convey the said decision of the National Assembly to the Senate. Hon. Senators, the Speaker of the Senate is in the process of transmitting this Bill to His Excellency the President for assent. I am advised that it could be signed within the course of today. Thank you."
