    "content": "The gist of my argument is that this is a very fundamental issue that this House needs to deliberate on and come to a close because it is a matter that affects every corner of this Republic. Therefore, it is important that I urge my honourable colleagues to support this Motion of deferring this debate so that we could consult on the composition of this ad hoc Committee and bring back this Motion for passage. The consequence of us not approving this Motion simply means that this Motion will be reintroduced only after six months. Kenyans will suffer. So I urge my colleagues to support my procedural Motion for deferment. Let us go and consult with the leadership of both sides and amend the list, and come up with an acceptable list before we proceed. Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir."
