    "content": "I rise pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order No.48 to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Devolution and Intergovernmental Relations concerning the status and completeness of assets registries in both county assemblies and executives in the country. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1)Provide to the House a status report on the availability, accuracy and completeness of assets registers in the counties. (2) Clarify whether counties have accurate data on the status of liabilities, debts and pending bills inherited by the county governments from the defunct local authorities. (3) Indicate what measures are in place to conduct an audit of the transition from the defunct local authorities to county governments, with a view to ensure that all public assets formerly vested in the defunct units are not misappropriated.
