    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, if you see the functions of governors, you would think they are State functions. All that money is going to such functions; including toilets, kitchens and cooks. We cannot allow it. I am wondering: When did the senators and governors have that kind of marriage? The Senate is supposed to be the oversight authority of counties but, what we are seeing today is that they are emulating the governors. Senate Mashinani is a session of spending Government money. We cannot just sit here and let the senators insult us left, right and centre. It is high time they knew that, that is a house of resting. They should rest, respect the President and wait for the time to impeach the President. That is the work they can do best but, overseeing our counties is not their work. The National Assembly has authority to control and determine how much money is going to the counties."
