    "content": "There is the notion that pastoral areas are bare since the northern part of Kenya does not have the kind of trees we are accustomed to seeing. That is not true because some places in the northern part of Kenya have more than 10 per cent forest cover. It is just that the forests are indigenous and may not look like the forests that we are used to. That said, we are on the right path. As other colleagues have said, I encourage the Senator for Kirinyaga County to take this a notch higher. There should be a framework that puts in place how that will be done. We should be innovative. In fact, we can nominate him as an SDG champion."
