"content": "(ii) a person from trade unions representing the employees within the county assemblies’ service; and (g) the chief executive officer who shall be an ex officio member and the secretary to the Board with no voting rights. (3) The vice-chairperson of the Board shall be elected by the Trustees from among their number. (4) The chairperson and vice- chairperson shall be of the opposite gender. (5) The Cabinet Secretary shall ensure that not more than two thirds of the members of the Board are of the same gender. (6) The Cabinet Secretary shall appoint the persons nominated under subsection (2) by notice in the gazette. (7) The procedure for nomination and appointment of Trustees under subsection (2) shall be as prescribed in the regulations."
