"content": "Madam Speaker, this is a very sad day for this House. I am sitting here quietly, because we are engaging in a very interesting debate. I was reading about a certain prophet, who believed that he could walk into a den of lions like Daniel, and he was eaten up. Earlier, Sen. Wetangula talked about the Senate Majority Leader being at the outer layers of the onion peel. When you are in the business of peeling onions, you also cry, because it is not very nice. That is why Sen. Kibiru was also persuaded to turn away because of the crying. It is not something we want to be proud about, because it is a day of shame. When I look at the people who were constituted to go and mediate for us, these are some of the best brains we have here. They are distinguished Senators who were elected by the people. If you look at the team from the National Assembly, we have accountants and economists, but the scientific argument was with us and it is still with us. The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposesonly. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor, Senate."
