    "content": " Thank you Hon. Deputy Speaker for giving me the opportunity to speak to this Bill which touches on the lives of Kenyans. We are here in Parliament to protect their lives. Essentially, without people, we have no country. We whine every day saying that the economy is not doing as well as it should and we know the contributions banks have to make towards economic growth. Therefore, when we are concerned about the bank charges, it is a legitimate concern which should worry every one of us. How we approach it is the big question or the elephant in the room."
