I want to go back to business and say that the Departmental Committee on Transport, Public Works and Housing ensured that it looked at the amendments and had an opportunity to go through it very carefully, very articulately and very diligently. That is so that the security of the one who is on board, boarding or landing is protected. This is in line with the various Acts and legislations that we looked at. As the Chairman has said, we ensured that Article 118(1) of the Constitution which is in respect of public participation was adhered to. The amendment was advertised, we received views from the Ministry. Therefore, we were completely satisfied that this amendment is critical. We will be urging the House to support it. With that, I second."
