Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this time to contribute to the ratification of the Protocol to amend the Convention of Offences and Certain Acts that are Committed on Board Aircraft. Aircraft service as a mode of transportation is important. They will really look at it because other than engine failure and mechanical issues, if we do not have safety regulations on board aircraft, it is good as having engine failure. There are many things we can do as a community of nations to make our aircraft safe. One among them is improvement of the training of the crew on board the flight.
