"content": "Madam Temporary Speaker, the issue of implementation of Motions of this House is an issue that my County Public Accounts and Investments Committee (CPAIC) has been grappling with. We have realized that the law provides that an accounting officer or any person with responsibility to implement the resolutions of Parliament, must do so within three months; failure to which, Parliament has been given powers to undertake any action, be it administrative, punitive or recommendations for prosecution. This is important, because in the life of this Parliament, there are very many Motions that we have passed. I remember there was one lovely Motion that we passed in The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposesonly. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor, Senate."
