    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker for that very comprehensive and well considered ruling. It is the business of this House and every Member to protect the Constitution. What you have done this afternoon is to reaffirm the position that this House has the powers to share the revenues of this country. I think this is the right direction. The so-called conflict between the National Assembly and the Senate is misconceived. We should be guided by the Constitution as the framers desired and Kenyans passed it in 2010. The powers of this House are well spelt out in the Constitution in so far as sharing of revenue is concerned. Hon. Deputy Speaker, I appreciate your ruling and thank you for your considered ruling."
