"content": "I am supporting this Bill on two facets. The first one is the issue of security which I have spoken to in terms of not just losing the money but the peace of mind that comes with the fact that you hold the title of property that you claim ownership to. Secondly, the other facet is the issue of that being collateral; many Kenyans own properties but it is just that. It is in a few sheets of papers that they cannot prove or that cannot be taken as security in banks. Having a registered sectional title gives you confidence to walk into any financial institution and secure yourself credit for further development or even for ownership of more properties. Kenya being a capitalist economy that it is, you can own as many properties as your creditworthiness can allow."
