    "content": " Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, we need to note that this amendment is not only for Population and Housing Census, it is for all statistical information. Apart from the Population and Housing Census, there are agricultural census and surveys on particular areas, which are collected by the KNBS. We should not concentrate on cancellation. There is revision and adjustments of statistics as well. So, I am not for the Director- General being given so much powers even though he is the technical advisor on statistics to the Government. He needs checks and balances, so that he does not wake up one day and cancel our statistics."
