First, let me thank the Chairman of the Committee and its Members for developing this very timely Report. Secondly, I wish to note that we cannot improve the quality of life in this nation unless the required services by wananchi are given timely. Denial of supply of these drugs to Government Ministries is tantamount to reducing the life expectancy of Kenyans. It is, therefore, important that any Government department or unit should perform its functions as expected. If you look at the issue of X-ray equipments which have not been supplied to our hospitals, you will find that it has affected proper health"
