    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I wish to give notice of the following Motion:- THAT, cognizant that when the colonialists came to this country, they sponsored education where they played most of the roles such as provision of physical facilities, learning materials, teachers and the like; aware of the fact that at independence, the Government started playing a bigger role in the provision of the facilities and services thereby diminishing the role of the so called sponsors who were in most cases missionaries and today, those who play these roles are the Government, the local communities and leadership; this House urges the Government to consider amending the regulation governing the nomination of Board of Governors for public secondary schools such that community representation and special interests are each increased from three to four and sponsor representation be reduced from four to two in order that the role played by each group is commensurate with the role played in the provision of physical facilities, learning materials and teaching staff."
