    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to urge the Committee - I believe the Committee on Lands, Environment and Natural Resources - that they have to look into this issue, but more importantly, make a profound Statement on the failings of the National Land Commission that transformed itself from a very noble Commission in the Constitution to a den of profiteers and fraudulent characters, who have been doing all manner of things that have nothing to do with what they were set up to do, so that the people in this country can be protected and ownership of land is respected and the land tenure system is made to benefit every Kenyan."
