    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for giving me this opportunity. I congratulate, Sen. Githiomi, the Senator for Nyandarua County. This Statement is timely. Despite the heavy rainfall and high milk production in the country, the prices have dropped. However, the price of processed and packaged milk remains high. There is no rationale that a litre of packaged milk is more than Kshs50 yet raw milk which has many components, for example, ghee and cream is only Kshs17 per litre. This is unfair to farmers."
