The Committee does not have to invite you because every Thursday, the Leader of the Majority Party reads out the number of questions to various committees and when it is that the CS or whomever is scheduled to appear before the committee to reply. So, it is up to the Members who have asked those questions to appear. Indeed, the Leader of the Majority Party even reads out the name of the Member who has asked a question. So, the Committee does not have to invite you."
