    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I congratulate and thank the Senator for Taita Taveta for bringing this Statement to the attention of the House. The Statement addresses the plight of Kenyans who have continued to suffer under the exploitation of the minerals and non-compensation for those resources. In the previous session of Parliament, I served as the Vice Chairperson of a Committee that was looking at this issue under the Bill that was moved by Sen.
