Most of the provisions have been changed in the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) Act and as I said the Board will be expanded to accommodate the county governments. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the board will also serve for two terms, 3 years each. Section 15(2) of the Act provides for the payment for those who are unable to pay for themselves by a contribution that will be provided by the Government; our Committee has emphasized that it should be the National Government."
