    "content": "Pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order No.44(2)(a), I rise to give the following Statement on behalf of the House Business Committee (HBC) following its meeting held on Tuesday, 26th November 2019. The House will consider the First Reading of the Supplementary Appropriation Bill, 2019 next week. All the other stages of that Bill will be dealt with. In addition, in the course of next week, the House is expected to consider the Reports of two nominees who were referred to the House for approval: The nominee for the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC), Hon. Amina Abdalla and the Controller of Budget. I, therefore, urge the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning to ensure that the vetting is concluded and the Report is submitted within the set timelines."
