    "content": "The last point is the issue of age. This is a point the Committee overlooked. It is important we say it openly. This is a position for eight years - it is not a position for two or three years. By this person assuming that Office, by the time she gets out, she will be 68 years. It would have been better if they got somebody who was in his/her mid50s so that the person retires in the early 60s, but in a situation where she is assuming this Office at the age of 60, we are being unfair to the youth of this country and people who are qualified. I believe there are so many Kenyans who have these qualifications. For now, because the Committee has gone to this extent, we will support her, but as she assumes this Office, she will lack energy which comes with being youthful."
