It is addressed to the Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development: (i) Could the Cabinet Secretary provide a progress report on why the construction of the 32 kilometres stretch of the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway has stalled at Mto wa Mawe in Athi River? (ii) Could the Cabinet Secretary further explain why the construction of a foot bridge at stage 39 along the same road is yet to be completed? (iii) When will the construction of the said section of the road and footbridge be completed? Thank you."
