In cross- examination of the star witness, counsel for the governor, my colleague Mr. Ng'ang’a Mbugua asked the County Assembly star witness 49 questions regarding the completeness of this documentation. Out of those questions, the County Assembly star witness admitted 47 times that the documents which would have been needed to beef up these allegations against the Governor were not in this bundle, but were elsewhere. What does that tell you in terms of the quality of the presentation and the threshold for impeachment in terms of Article 181 of the Constitution? This is the only logical inference you can make from that."
