    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for this opportunity to also contribute to this Motion. This is a very unfortunate case. As a first term Senator, it is my first case of impeachment. Many of my colleagues have said that they fault the lawyers on the side of the governor for maybe misadvising him on the filing of evidence. I am not very sure we can make that determination of whether the lawyers failed or the governor did not take good advice. I say this because reference has been made – not once, not twice, but three times – on bundles of evidence lying in the Office of the Chief Serjeant-at-Arms. Those documents lying there will not help the governor in any way. They will not help us in making any decision. Those documents would have been very helpful to the Governor and this House if they had been filed in good time. The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
