    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, yesterday you made a ruling and gave us a litany of rules of procedure that we were supposed to consider. Senior Counsel Okong’o Omogeni has sought preliminary guidance from the Chair regarding the manner in which we should proceed and whether it is right or wrong. I will refer you to Part 1 of the Fifth Schedule of the Standing Orders. Paragraph 2(b) provides that the Senate shall, in Plenary, determine whether the particulars of the allegations against the Governor have been substantiated. I expect the counsel for the Governor to strictly give us evidence because that is what we are looking for. At the end of it, we will decide which way the evidence weighs."
