    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, on 11th September, 2019, a public Petition by the Connective Tissue Disorders Association (CTDA) was tabled before the Senate and committed to the Standing Committee on Health pursuant to Standing Order No.223(1). The Petition was broadly in relation to the difficulties that individuals with auto- immune diseases face in accessing quality healthcare and avoiding catastrophic health expenditures. To this effect, the petitioners alleged that individuals with auto-immune diseases face difficulties in accessing quality health care since there are only five doctors in the country who can diagnose, treat and manage the disorder."
