As it is well stated, the function of planning and developing cemeteries, funeral parlors and crematoria is now a function of county governments. However, there are several counties that do not have these services yet. With urbanization and many rural areas developing into towns, it is important to have cemeteries because we are running short of land to bury the dead as it was done traditionally; we used to bury people around our houses.
