    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I stand to support the Committee Report on the State of the Judiciary. I will mostly concentrate my comments on the Report for 2017/2018. Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I must admit from the outset that the Judiciary has made major milestones in the protection of human rights in this country. Prior to the 2010 Constitution and prior to the many changes that were made to our legal system over the years, human rights were trampled on without fear and without apology under the whims of those in leadership. However, we must admit, over time, we no longer hear of detention without trial, or people being denied bail unnecessarily."
