Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 7 of the Bill be amended − (a) in sub clause (1) − (iii) by inserting the words “or a person designated in writing by the Principal Secretary” immediately after the word “roads” appearing in paragraph (c); Paragraph (iii) is actually the same as what I have just done. We are giving the opportunity for the Principal Secretary (PS) in charge of roads to designate an officer to represent him or her in writing."
