Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 21 of the Bill be amended by inserting the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph (a)— “(ab) the livestock and livestock marketing products levy established under section 21A;” The rationale is that the amendment seeks to provide for an additional source of funding for the Board, which will be Livestock and Livestock Marketing Products Levy. This is proposed under section 21A. It will foster financial sustainability of the Board to carry out its mandate."
