(a) The Government budgeted in the Financial Year 2010/2011 Kshs535 million for civic education to be carried out by the Committee of Experts (CoE). Following approval of the Vote on Account, the Treasury is in the process of releasing Kshs350 million before the end of this week to the CoE. (b) In view of the answer “a” above, part “b” does not arise. Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir."
