    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, land use in Kenya has been one of the most topical issues that over a period of time have either failed miserably because of non- compliance with the rules and regulations governing land. I had an occasion of being the Ambassador of Kenya to the UN Habitat. One of my last functions was the negotiation of the new urban agenda which now falls under the Sustainable Development Programme (SDP) for this nation. If you are keen, you will notice that land parcels are shrinking particularly in very highly populated areas. Even in areas that are sparsely populated the management of ranches and land in those areas leaves a lot to be desired."
