This is because the Treasury can only monitor money which comes through the Treasury. There are many sources of funding for these campaigns including the ones the hon. Member has mentioned. We do not maintain records of such monies. Therefore, people using them have a moral obligation not to use dirty money if such dirty monies come to this country."
