Speaker, if I may give a few comments on the Women Enterprise Development Fund, which is also part of the Report, we found that the Fund is well managed and has assisted many women in the country. Some constituencies have an uptake of up to Ksh450 million while others have not been able to get Ksh10 million. Therefore, I want to encourage the Members of this House to mobilise women in their respective constituencies. The Women Enterprise Fund Board is ready to facilitate training sessions across the constituency’s women groups, so that they can benefit from the money. I commend this Fund because they have done so well. Recovery in most constituencies is going up to 80, 90 or 100 per cent. So, I encourage my colleagues that this is one of the Funds that can impact positively in our constituencies if we take advantage of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Women Enterprise Fund. The CEO is very accessible and the board is working to assist the Members."
