    "content": "In the case of an Adjournment Motion, Standing Order No.33 (4) provides that the Motion to be moved is, “That the Senate do now adjourn to discuss a definite matter of urgent national importance.” Standing Order No.3 (4) further provides that an Adjournment Motion shall be seconded and proposed, but no question shall be put at the end of the debate. There is, therefore, express provision to the effect that at the conclusion of debate on an Adjournment Motion, there is not resolution or further action required of the Senate.
